Rigged Character: Tweety
This is my first modeled and rigged character. I've been rigging characters a few times before as well, but this is the first time I rigged a my own character. This is also the first time I used CAT system instead of the Biped. This CAT rig is not one of the skeletons from the presets, but a custom one. Tweety has a somewhat unusual body, enormous head on top of a tiny trunk, and unusually large and long feet. That's why none of the skeletons from the presets matches. I didn't rig the eyes, eye lids, beak and face because it would've been too much for the first rig, but I might make a new version with these features. I could rig the eyes moving easily since I created them as separate objects. I still don't whether I'll be using this character in a game, so not sure whether to invest so much work in it.
I combined a few BIP animation files to make this rig dance. The feet are a little bit too long for this because these animations were created for a human character, so the feet appear to be sinking into the floor. Some of these dance moves require that the feet is pointing downwards, and that's a bit of a problem for our Tweety here. I forgot to animate the tail. Still, it's nice to see your own character springs to life like this.
